Many Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been responding to a tweet from @LastWordOnSpurs in which they relayed a report from Football.london’s Alasdair Gold in which he claims that Inter have rejected the club’s offers for Milan Skriniar.
The 25-year-old defender has been linked with a move to north London recently and according to the journalist, the Lilywhites have been involved in discussions with the Nerazzurri and have offered Juan Foyth the other way in a bid to lower the fee, a proposal which the Serie A giants have rejected.
Following this update, here is how a sample of the Spurs faithful have responded on the social media platform.
Steve Hitchen either comes back with Skriniar or he can find a house out there.

Are you confident Spurs will land Skriniar before the window closes?
Yes
No
It’s clear from the above responses that many of these fans are hoping to see an agreement reached between the two clubs that would see the £45m-rated defender swap Milan for north London. Others were surprised that Antonio Conte’s side have reportedly turned down the opportunity to bring in Juan Foyth as part of the deal, here is what they had to say on the matter.
What’s wrong with foyth? They should take him. Will develop well at Milan. Maybe throttle bitter about getting shortchanged with tintin eriksen from us

Bro this is a league that made Chris Smalling look good. Juan Foyth would be the next Maldini in that league.

It remains to be seen whether Milan Skriniar will end up a Spurs player before the transfer window closes on October 5 but what we do know from the aforementioned report is that there has been plenty of communication between the relevant parties with regards to his future.
