Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post about the club’s transfer plans for the remainder of the current summer transfer window.
This comes after Spurs news Twitter account @Daily_Hotspur shared a post on their page relaying comments made by Spurs journalist Alasdair Gold.
In a recent article written by Gold for Football.london, the journalist revealed that Spurs will aim to sign a target man and a centre-half during the remainder of the current window after they hope to complete a double transfer swoop for Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon.

So far, this current summer window has seen the London club splash out a sum of £58.86 million to bring in players such as Giovani Lo Celso, Matt Doherty and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. The club also signed goalkeeper Joe Hart on a free transfer from fellow Premier League side Burnley earlier in the window (per Transfermarkt).
