A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a post from NUFC 360, which has relayed transfer news from Tuttosport (via Sport Witness) claiming that the Toon have initiated contact with Napoli over striker Arkadiusz Milik.
The Polish forward had been set to join Roma but has reportedly rejected the move and has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur; however, it now looks like the Magpies are making a move for Milik.
This has drawn the attention of these Toon fans, who would love this deal to happen.
Do you believe this report?
No, not a chance we are after him
Yes, we need another striker, so could be true

Newcastle have only just signed Callum Wilson for £20m and also have Andy Carroll, Joelinton, and Dwight Gayle as alternative options.
However, Gayle is out injured for up to four months, while Yoshinori Muto has joined Eibar on a season-long loan deal, so the Toon have three players who can play as a striker for the time being.
Steve Bruce started with a 4-4-2 setup in their Premier League opener against West Ham United and partnered Wilson with Carroll, so if the Toon were to buy Milik, perhaps the Pole would line up alongside his potential fellow new arrival.
This post continued to draw the attention of these Toon fans, who doubt that Newcastle are in talks to sign Milik.
Doubt it’ll happen, but wow it would be amazing if it did

Milik has scored 48 goals for Napoli in 122 appearances, including seven goals in the Champions League, so if Newcastle were to sign the 26-year-old, they would be signing a proven goalscorer at the highest level.
However, it has been reported that the Toon are now mainly looking for loan deals, so it may be considered unlikely that Newcastle will sign the Pole.
Despite this, this could be a transfer story to keep an eye on as we get closer to the transfer deadline.
