Many Newcastle United supporters have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Toon-focused Twitter account @NUFC360 which shares the news that the club’s League Cup third-round clash with Morecambe ‘hasn’t been chosen for live TV’.
While this match is not set to be televised live on Sky Sports, the League Cup fixture, which is set to take place on 23rd September, ‘will be available for supporters to watch via the Carabao Cup official live streaming platform,’ as per the Toon’s official website.
In their post which shares this news, Newcastle United’s official website also explained that it will cost Toon fans £10 to buy a match pass for this fixture.
A lot of Newcastle United fans have been replying to @NUFC360’s tweet sharing that the Toon’s upcoming League Cup clash with Morecambe is not set to be televised to share their thoughts on this news.
