A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from Lee Ryder that contains an image of Jeff Hendrick at the end of the Toon’s game with Brighton and Hove Albion that ended in a 3-0 win for the Seagulls.
The image shows the 28-year-old alone on the pitch at St. James’ Park after Brighton dominated from start to finish and could have scored more than three.
Hendrick started the game and played 90 minutes but turned in a poor performance rated 5.77/10 (WhoScored), which was only enough to rank him in tenth place in the Toon’s squad on a dreadful afternoon.
This post drew the attention of these Newcastle fans who warned Hendrick to prepare for the worst.
Do you think Hendrick will experience more positive times at Newcastle?
No, he should prepare for a long season
Yes, it was just a bad game
Turned down the San Siro for this bless him.

This match was in stark contrast to Newcastle’s opener at West Ham United when the Toon won 2-0, and Hendrick scored and provided an assist.
However, here the club found themselves 2-0 down inside ten minutes and then didn’t manage a shot on target for the whole game.
This post from Ryder continued to draw the attention of many Newcastle fans.
When did he come on

Haha, welcome to Newcastle.

After two wins from two, Newcastle were looking to build some momentum, but instead, Brighton dominated and deservedly won the club’s latest fixture.
Newcastle face Morecambe in the Carabao Cup next on Wednesday and then Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, so they will have to respond because they were very poor in this match.
Hendrick experienced the highs of a goal and an assist on his debut.
Then just over a week later ended the game looking like this, hopefully for his sake, he will be experiencing a lot more highs than lows this season for Newcastle, but these Toon fans seem to doubt it.
