Who did Leeds sign from a La Liga side in September?

One of these topics that he spent some time on was the future of Harry Wilson.

The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Bournemouth and has been made available for sale by Liverpool, and while a few Premier League clubs have been linked, no move has materialised for the Welshman yet.

It seems as if Leeds United wanted Wilson at the beginning of the window, but Marcelo Bielsa was not keen and the Whites moved on.

He said: “There were some inquiries from Burnley, I don’t think they’ve really progressed.

“So, we’ll see in the final week because Leeds previously were in for him right at the start of the transfer window, but I don’t think Marcelo Bielsa was favouring that signing.”

TIF Thoughts…

The 23-year-old was linked with a move to Leeds last year as well as this summer, but if Ornstein’s information is correct, he won’t be moving to Elland Road in this transfer window.

Leeds instead look set to be signing Michael Cuisance from Bayern Munich as the Frenchman has been given permission to talk to the Whites about joining and a deal of £18m is said to be close.

Cuisance is a versatile player who has played on the wing before but mainly plays as a central midfielder and he is highly rated.

So, it will be intriguing to see what happens to Wilson in the remainder of the transfer window, but it seems that he won’t end up at Elland Road in this window.
