Supporters of Leeds United have slated the Whites’ Spanish goalkeeper Kiko Casilla following the club’s pre-season friendly against Stoke City.
During the 80-minute friendly match at the bet365 Stadium, Marcelo Bielsa’s outfit fell to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of the Potters (per Leeds United).
As revealed by the club earlier in the day on Tuesday, Casilla started in goal for the visitors (per Leeds United).
So, due to the Yorkshire club’s heavy defeat against the Championship outfit, many supporters took to social media to slate the Spaniard.
Can guarantee Casilla has done something wrong for 2/3 of the goals

Blaming it all on Casilla. It’s fine.

Casilla has been situated at Elland Road since he was signed by the Whites on a free transfer from Real Madrid in January 2019 on a four-and-a-half-year deal (per BBC).
Should Leeds be looking to sell Kiko Casilla this summer?
Yes, he's not good enough
No, he's a good player
Casilla needs to go – whenever he starts a game in goal we look leaky admittedly nowhere near our first team out but he doesn’t inspire confidence. He shouldn’t even be our number 2!

I swear to everything that is above – get Casilla OUT of nets before the real games start!!! https://t.co/D2Fb2wusp1

During the 2019/20 Championship season, the 33-year-old stopper made 36 league appearances for Leeds in which he kept a respectable total of 15 clean sheets (per Transfermarkt).
However, the £1.8m-rated man was only able to earn an average rating of 6.65/10 in the league which made him the Whites’ 15th-best performer (per WhoScored).
Casilla OUT

Chaos with Casilla in goal?… Noooo

As can be seen in these responses from Leeds supporters, it is clear to see that they are not keen on the Spanish ‘keeper.
With Illan Meslier having kept seven clean sheets in 10 Championship appearances towards the end of the season (per Transfermarkt), hopefully, for Leeds fans, he will be the club’s number one next season.
