Many Leeds United supporters have been reacting to a Twitter post which shared some information regarding the referee for the club’s Premier League trip to Sheffield United on Sunday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side travel to Bramall Lane to take on Chris Wilder’s side, who will be looking to pick up their first three points of the season. Paul Tierney will take charge of the fixture having officiated in games involving the Whites on 10 previous occasions going into this one.
The Yorkshire-based club have won just four of those fixtures, drawing one and losing five (as per Transfermarkt).
Here is how a sample of the supporters have responded to the post regarding the official’s appointment.
Pens all round then like our first two games. I reckon it’ll be 4-4 and all 8 goals will be pens, 2 sendings off

Are you concerned by who the referee is ahead of Sunday's game?

It’s clear from the responses of these fans that there is some concern regarding the referee assigned to take charge of this upcoming fixture. The Whites will be looking to build some momentum with another victory following their narrow win over fellow promoted side Fulham last weekend.
Hopefully, for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, the identity of the man in the middle will prove irrelevant.
