Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which highlighted footage of a goal scored by Leeds U23 centre-forward, Sam Greenwood.
The footage, which was uploaded by the official Leeds United Twitter account, highlighted a free-kick taken by Greenwood in the U23 squad’s recent fixture against Sunderland, in which the 18-year-old fired the ball over the top of the Sunderland wall and past a helpless goalkeeper.
In reaction to the footage, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many questioning why the club is apparently in the market to buy more players when they have young talents like Greenwood in the U23 side, while others simply praised the player and his goal.
Watching our under 23’s and wondering why we need to buy any more players apart from a Hernandez successor.

Greenwood is a new signing for Leeds, having arrived last month in what was a £1.53 million deal from Arsenal, and, from the footage, as well as the fact that he bagged a hat-trick in the game against Sunderland, it would appear as if he is finding himself at home in Leeds in no time at all.
Do you think we'll see Greenwood in Marcelo Bielsa's first team squad this season?
Yes
No
It would seem that many more fans of Leeds are incredibly excited about the potential of the England U18 international, with a great deal of them taking to Twitter to share their opinion on the forward and his free-kick.

We have to say, from Greenwood’s performance in the Sunderland fixture, these Leeds fans appear to be justified in their excitement about the 18-year-old’s potential.
If he keeps his level of performance up, hopefully, they get their wish of seeing the forward in the first team in the not so distant future.
