Some Leeds United fans have been reacting to a tweet that was recently posted by BBC broadcaster Adam Pope which shares the news that the Yorkshire-based club have been fined £20k after ‘admitting a breach of FA Rule E20’ following their use of pyrotechnics while celebrating their 3-1 win over Derby County at Pride Park back in July

The Whites had been confirmed as the winners of the Championship prior to their penultimate game of the 2019/20 league season against Derby County, however, Marcelo Bielsa’s side still earned a 3-1 win at Pride Park and after the game, Leeds’ players celebrated their title win ‘together pitchside’ in the behind-closed-doors stadium.

Their use of pyrotechnics during these behind-closed-doors title celebrations have resulted in the club receiving a £20k fine and after Pope shared this news on Twitter, plenty of Leeds supporters replied to his post to share their thoughts on this news.

Some Leeds fans replied to Pope’s tweet to share some disappointment over this news.

However, many other Whites supporters who responded to this tweet were unconcerned by this news, with some Leeds supporters suggesting that this fine is worth it to have had the opportunity to see their players celebrate their title win as they did at Pride Park.
