Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol caught the attention of some Leeds United supporters recently after he took to Twitter to provide an update on the Whites’ interest in signing Fulham teenager Cody Drameh.

Solhekol recently posted a tweet declaring that Leeds are ‘one of the club’s who want to sign’ the 18-year-old Fulham full-back. He claimed that the Whites are ‘ready’ to offer the Cottagers £400k for the player, who has got just one year remaining on his contract with the London-based club.

He then posted a follow-up tweet to explain that the player is also interested in making this move happen, claiming that ‘Drameh wants to sign for Leeds.’

After the Sky Sports reporter shared that the player would like to join Leeds United on Twitter, plenty of Whites supporters replied to his post to share their thoughts on this potential transfer.

Some Whites fans shared that they aren’t surprised that Drameh would want to move to Elland Road.

Would this be a good signing for Leeds United?

NO

The 18-year-old Fulham player made 17 Premier League 2 appearances for the Cottagers’ U23s during the 2019/20 campaign, providing seven assists in the competition. Drameh was the joint-highest assist provider in the Premier League 2 for the most recent campaign.

With that in mind, it may be fair to say that the 18-year-old enjoyed a positive season last term and it mightn’t be too surprising to see that some Whites supporters shared their excitement over this potential move in response to Solhekol’s tweet.

Considering that Drameh is in the last year of his Fulham contract, perhaps the Cottagers will be open to selling the teenager this summer if he does want to leave the club, as Solhekol has claimed, rather than risk losing him on a free transfer next year.
