Leeds United fans on Twitter have been discussing the possibility of a permanent transfer move to Elland Road for Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ben White.
This comes after @Radebe_Leeds shared a post on their page claiming that the club should ‘sack off’ a move for White after a report emerged from Football Insider.
Interestingly, the report states that Leeds United have had an improved £30 million bid for Ben White rejected by Brighton & Hove Albion.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this statement regarding White.
Here’s a sample of Leeds fans responding to the post:
IF a £30 million bid for Ben White has been rejected then sack it off immediately, or at least tell Brighton that. #lufc

Yes 100% agree could bring in a number of quality players for that.

The defender spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Marcelo Bielsa’s side from Brighton in which he made a total of 49 appearances for the newly-promoted side in which he scored one goal and provided two assists (per Transfermarkt).
I like Ben White but 30 mill for a player not proven above championship level is steep.

After his loan spell at Leeds ended, the 22-year-old, who is currently valued at £4.95 million, returned to the Amex Stadium ahead of Brighton’s upcoming 2020/21 Premier League campaign.
No way, need to move on now

It has been reported recently that Leeds have had two bids of £18.5 million and £22 million for White rejected by Brighton.
Yeah fingers crossed we’ve got a plan B

Do you think Leeds should put in a £30m bid for White?
Yes
No
Big player for us, but 30M is very excessive.

@AshleyChurchil1 probably seen it already, but this is ridiculous

Half of Europe are bidding £30 million for Gabriel from Lille . We are going towards cheap world beaters prices here . Love Ben White but still crazy money

Now that this Leeds Twitter page has claimed that the Yorkshire club should walk away from a potential deal for White if they had a third bid of £30 million rejected by Brighton, this sparked a huge discussion with many Leeds fans responding to their post with their thoughts on the issue.
I think its time to look elsewhere, times ticking on

Looking at these replies from this group of Leeds fans, it appears that they believe that their club shouldn’t be spending more than £30 million to bring White to Elland Road on a permanent basis this summer.
