The winger from Cape Verde made his way through the youth system at Sporting before making his senior debut for the club in Liga NOS in 2018 when he was 20 years old (per Transfermarkt).

Overall, the winger has made a total of 52 appearances for Sporting’s senior side in which he has managed to score 10 goals and provide 11 assists along the way.

The 2019/20 season saw Cabral, who is currently valued at £4.05 million, make 16 appearances for Sporting in the league in which he managed to score six goals and provide two assists along the way.

Cabral’s performances in those 16 appearances earned him a season rating of 7.17/10 (per WhoScored).

TIF Thoughts…

Cabral could be a useful addition to West Ham’s squad this summer as some of his strengths include his through balls, dribbling, finishing, taking long shots and his ability to make key passes.

This could make him a good fit at West Ham as some of their strengths on the pitch include their ability to attack down the wings, playing with width and taking lots of shots at the opponent’s goal (per WhoScored).

With West Ham ending the 2019/20 Premier League season in 16th place in the table on 39 points, they will surely want to have a better season next year and could well splash the cash in the transfer market to try and achieve that.

It will be interesting to see what the Hammers do in the transfer window and see if they manage to bring in some new faces to the squad.
