Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that the club are interested in a deal for Inter defender Milan Skriniar.

The report by FC Inter News claims that Spurs are interested in a summer move for the centre-back, and could be willing to include Tanguy Ndombele in a potential swap deal.

After this news was relayed on Twitter by Daily Hotspur, fans of Tottenham flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that their club should not let Ndombele go and that if the player were to leave this summer, then Jose Mourinho may as well leave the club himself.

Since arriving at Spurs from Lyon in what was a £54 million deal last summer, Ndombele went on to make just 21 Premier League appearances for the club last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.71/10 – ranking him as the club’s joint-13th-best player last term.

However, it was reported earlier this year that the 23-year-old told Mourinho that he no longer wanted to play under him at Tottenham, following an argument between the two.

Meanwhile, following the Premier League’s restart in June, Ndombele featured for just 64 minutes over the club’s final nine Premier League fixtures.

It would certainly appear as if the majority of these Spurs fans do not want to see Ndombele leave this summer.

However, considering the fact that it looks like Mourinho is happy to leave the player out of his plans, it would probably be better for the club to get rid of the £40.5 million-rated man, rather than him sitting on the bench unused.
