Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been discussing the latest transfer news involving the club that recently emerged on Twitter.
Football Insider recently reported that Spurs ‘are working on at least five more new signings’ for the summer and the club has some ‘feelers out’ for the other new signings.
They believe that Jose Mourinho wants the club to sign a right-back, a centre-back, an attacking midfielder, a striker and a back-up goalkeeper.
They mention that Mourinho wants a striker ‘who can operate anywhere across the forward line’. Hotspur Related recently relayed a tweet carrying this information.
It caught the attention of many Spurs fans, who made their opinion clear about this transfer update. A couple of them feel that anything like this will not happen.
Will Spurs make five more signings this summer?

Spurs have already sealed the signature of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. The Dane arrived at the club from Southampton for a fee of £15m plus bonuses. Kyle-Walker Peters has left Spurs to join Southampton and has signed a five-year deal at the south coast club (as per Sky Sports).
Some other Tottenham fans also made their feelings known about this transfer rumour.

All in all, these Spurs fans don’t seem too positive about this update. Sky Sports had reported that Spurs are looking to sign a centre-back, a right-back and a striker this summer, so a part of the Football Insider report might indeed be true.
The club finished seven points behind both Chelsea and Manchester United in the 2019/20 season and they would need to bridge that gap if they want to qualify for the Champions League next season.
So, making quality additions to the side should be a priority this summer.
