Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been discussing the latest news about Allan and their links with a move for the Everton target.
Italian journalist Ciro Venerato recently spoke to Calcio Napoli 24 (via Sport Witness) and he revealed that Napoli have already ‘communicated’ to the likes of Spurs, West Ham and Atletico Madrid that the Brazilian midfielder will join Everton. The journalist also revealed that the Partenopei midfielder ‘will become’ an Everton player in the ‘first ten days’ of September.
This update involving the Brazilian was relayed on Twitter by Hotspur Related. It caught the attention of many Spurs fans and they made their opinion very clear.
Classic spurs, wait for another club to tie up the deal, at least we tried ??

Probably not true, we wouldn’t sign him and Højbjerg

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has already confirmed that Everton are in talks with Napoli to sign Allan, who carries a price tag of €35 million (£31.3 million).
Spurs have already sealed the signing of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg though, who has arrived from Southampton for a fee of £15 million.
Other fans of the London-based club also talked about the Allan news and made their negative opinion very clear.
Wouldn’t expect anything else from spurs to be fair, can’t even go out and lure a play away from Everton

Overall, the reaction to this update is negative. Some of the Spurs fans seem annoyed at the club’s approach in making transfers.
As things stand, Mourinho already has as many as six players who naturally play in the central midfield position and even Dele Alli can do a job in that part of the pitch (as per Transfermarkt).
This shows that there is enough depth in that department and because of that, we feel that Spurs should now focus on strengthening in other positions this summer.
