Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a reported update on Tanguy Ndombele, which suggests that Inter are planning to return to the table with Spurs regarding a potential transfer.
According to RMC Sport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi (via Hotspur Related), Antonio Conte’s side will make a renewed effort to sign the French international this summer.
However, Daniel Levy is refusing to entertain the idea of selling the 23-year-old, who joined in a club-record fee from Lyon last summer.
Despite struggling in his debut season in the English top-flight, making just 21 appearances in the Premier League, and averaging a disappointing 6.71 rating (per Whoscored), Ndombele hasn’t been short of potential suitors this summer, with Inter, Barcelona and Bayern Munich all having been linked with the midfielder.
The record signing has also struggled with fitness issues throughout his time at Spurs thus far and despite Jose Mourinho praising his efforts in training shortly before the Premier League restart, he made just two substitute appearances in the Lilywhites’ remaining top-flight fixtures.
Do you think Ndombele will leave?

Some Spurs fans seem to think that this is just Daniel Levy’s way of getting the Italian side to increase their offer for the Frenchman.

Levy will sell him on deadline day, and we won’t have “time” to replace him.

Overall, whilst some Spurs fans seem to think that Spurs should just cash in on the midfielder, others seem worried that the 23-year-old midfielder will depart later in the window.
