Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a transfer rumour linking their club with a move for Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon. 

According to Spanish news outlet Marca (via Daily Hotspur), the Lilywhites are one of several clubs taking an interest in the Spaniard this summer, with Manchester United, Inter and Juventus also credited with an interest. The 23-year-old spent the most recent season on loan with Sevilla; making 31 appearances in La Liga and averaging a strong 7.10 rating for his performances (per Whoscored).

The young defender also excelled in the Europa League; averaging a superb 7.23 rating across his six appearances (per Whoscored), helping Julen Lopetegui’s side to the trophy. Despite this, the report suggests that Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane will keep faith with Marcelo and Ferland Mendy as the left-backs in his side next season, meaning that Reguilon could be allowed to leave, with Marca suggesting that they would demand around €20-25 million (£17.9-22.4 million) for his signature.
