Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to some quotes from Harry Kane regarding the north London club’s ambitions for the 2020/21 campaign.
The England captain spoke to the club’s official website (via TranSPURS), about their hopes for next season, saying: “I think it was important we finished this season strong and we can take that momentum forward. It’s only going to be a short break and we’ll be straight back into it, so hopefully, we can continue our form into next season.”
Jose Mourinho’s side finished the most recent Premier League campaign strongly, earning four wins and two draws from their final six games, which was enough to see them secure sixth place in the top-flight. The 27-year-old has spoken in the past about his aspirations to win trophies with the Lilywhites, so he will no doubt be hoping that Mourinho, a man renowned for his ability to win silverware, can deliver Spurs’ first major honour since 2008 next season.
Do you think Kane will win a trophy with Spurs next season?

Lots of Spurs fans seem convinced that the quotes from Kane suggest he is keen to stay with the Lilywhites, despite the lack of Champions League football next season.
Where’s these quotes from and when please. Sounds like he’s not going anywhere for one more year

Hopefully Jose gets the backing from levy to bring in some quality players that will encourage Kane to stay.

However, one Spurs fan did question Kane’s suggestion that they finished the season strongly.
Did we finish the season strong ?? I suppose it depends on what you consider to be finishing weak.
The last 2 maybe 3 games ….Kane was and has been at his very best ….from about 3 years ago . He’s lucky that we had …no one …. for him to compete with on the bench. COYS.

Overall, it seems clear that the majority of Spurs fans are delighted with Kane’s comments and feel confident that the Englishman won’t be leaving the north London club this summer.
