Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reported update on QPR midfielder Eberechi Eze, which suggests that he would be available for £16 million this summer.

According to Ed Aarons in The Guardian (via Daily Hotspur), the 22-year-old will be allowed to leave the Championship side if their asking price of £16 million is matched this summer. Spurs have been linked with a move for the former Wycombe Wanderers loanee in the past, although in more recent months, he has been more regularly linked with the likes of Crystal Palace, West Ham United, Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United (per The Guardian).

How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? - Who did Spurs beat in the opening fixture?

In the most recent Championship season, the young midfielder was extremely impressive for Mark Warburton’s side, contributing 14 goals and eight assists in 46 appearances, which saw him average a superb 7.36 rating (per WhoScored). You could argue that Jose Mourinho’s side is in need of a creative midfielder, following Christian Eriksen’s departure in January, so perhaps Eze’s relatively low asking price will reignite the North London club’s interest in him.
