Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the reported news that the Lilywhites are set to join the race to sign Brentford winger Said Benrahma this summer.
According to the Daily Mirror (via Hotspur Related), the north London club are interested in signing the Algerian this summer after his exceptional season in the Championship. The 24-year-old was rated as the best player in the second tier across the season (min. one appearance), averaging a superb 7.49/10 rating for his performances, having contributed 17 goals and nine assists in 46 appearances (per WhoScored).
Unsurprisingly, the winger has attracted the attention of plenty of Premier League clubs, with the report also mentioning the likes of West Ham United, Leeds United, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Arsenal as potential suitors. With Thomas Frank’s side having suffered defeat in the Championship play-off final earlier this week, it would perhaps not be a surprise to see the 24-year-old leave the Bees this summer for a top-flight club.
Would Benrahma be a good signing for Spurs?

However, some Lilywhites supporters seem to think that Jose Mourinho doesn’t need any more wingers in his squad, which is unsurprising when you consider the plethora of options he already has available to him in that position.
More wingers just what we need

Overall, whilst some Spurs fans feel that the 24-year-old isn’t needed this summer, others feel that he would be a great addition to Mourinho’s squad.
