Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reported news on Norwich City right-back Max Aarons.
A report from The Athletic from last week suggested that (via The Spurs Express), the Lilywhites are having second thoughts about launching a bid for the 20-year-old this summer, with Jose Mourinho having raised doubts about whether the youngster is right for his Spurs side.
The Lilywhites have been regularly linked with a move for the defender in the past but it seems as if the North London club won’t be signing him this summer despite their lack of options at right-back following Kyle Walker-Peters’ departure, with Serge Aurier also looking likely to leave.

In the most recent Premier League season, the English defender struggled to perform for Daniel Farke’s side; contributing no goals and just one assist in 36 top-flight appearances, which saw him average a disappointing 6.55 rating (per WhoScored), so it is perhaps unsurprising to hear that Mourinho is not keen on signing him.

I think he’s a promising player and he is not as bad as some say, tbh I think he’ll be a very good player in a few years time.
But if Aurier goes, we do need a more experienced more advanced player in terms of development.
