Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to Twitter in order to respond to a post from @HotspurRelated relaying a report from Corriere dello Sport which claims it is AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli’s ‘dream’ to sign Serge Aurier this summer.
The Ivorian joined the Lilywhites from Paris Saint-Germain back in August 2017 in a deal reportedly worth £22.5m and made 33 Premier League appearances for the club during the 2019/20 campaign.
According to WhoScored.com, Aurier’s average performance rating in the English top-flight last season was a very respectable 7.06/10, making him the club’s third-most consistent performer, so what have the fans made of this latest report regarding the player’s future?

They have Paolo Maldini (arguably the greatest defender to ever play the game) as director of football, and they dream if Aurier?

I share that dream of them signing him. I hope both our dreams come true.

Is now the time to cash in on Serge Aurier?
Yes
No
It’s clear from the above responses that some of these supporters cannot believe what they’re reading and hope that the North London club are able to cash in on the defender this summer. Many continued to respond.

It appears Serge Aurier isn’t at all highly rated amongst these Spurs fans and that most of them would be open to the sale of the right-back. According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, he is worth £14.4m, therefore, if the club were to sell, we can assume they would be hoping to receive that sort of figure in terms of his transfer fee.
