Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been discussing the club’s links with a move to sign Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale.
Football Insider recently reported about this, stating that the Lilywhites are looking to make a ‘sensational’ loan move to bring Bale back to the club and are looking to ‘offer him a route out of Real Madrid’. The report goes on to claim that Spurs are ‘keeping tabs’ on the Welshman and his situation at the Santiago Bernabeu.
This update was relayed on Twitter by Talking THFC. Many Spurs fans flocked to this and made their opinions clear.
No we aren’t. Stop falling for Levy’s rumour mills to get people to renew season tickets. Every year

Will Bale ever return to Spurs?
Yes, he will
Never!
I’m feeling a tad bit of deja vu. We will i when the window closes and he’s still at Madrid. I hope I’m wrong but let’s be real.

Same story as the previous transfer window and the one before that….. how can we possibly afford his salary unless Real Madrid subsidise it to get him out of the door.

These Spurs fans believe that the move won’t happen and their reaction towards the report is pretty negative.
Bale left Spurs in the summer of 2013 for a fee of £90.9 million. At Real Madrid, the Welshman has won four Champions League titles and two La Liga titles (as per Transfermarkt).
Some fans made it clear that they wouldn’t like Bale back at the club this summer, with one fan calling it a ‘pointless risk’ for the Lilywhites.
Would be a colossal, pointless risk. Leave him be. He’s gone weird.

Stop it – I’ve only just got over him leaving us

Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett recently made it clear that the Real man is ‘happy’ in Spain and it was reported that the Welshman wants to ‘collect every penny of his salary’ at the Madrid-based club.
It shows that even if Spurs are interested in bringing him back to north London, Bale may not be so keen on a move back to his former club.
