On the latest video for his YouTube channel, Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold has been discussing the latest goings-on at Tottenham Hotspur and discussing some of the transfer business that the Lilywhites could conduct this summer.

One topic of discussion on his recent video was Norwich City midfielder, Emiliano Buendia. The Argentinian impressed in the most recent Premier League season, despite the Canaries’ relegation back to the Championship, contributing one goal and seven assists in the top flight, which saw him average a solid 7.08 rating (per WhoScored).

How well can you remember Spurs' season so far? - Who did Spurs beat in the opening fixture?

The Football.london journalist certainly seems to think that the 23-year-old could be on the move this summer, and tipped Spurs to be one of the teams interested in his recent video:

“Buendia, who I’m really coming around to the idea of, I think if Spurs want to have another advanced playmaker. This guy, [I think he was] third or fourth in terms of chances created and he was playing at a relegated team.

“I think he’d be a great shout, and Spurs look very closely at Norwich, they’ve had scouts there this season. I’d be stunned if he’s not on a list somewhere for Tottenham.”

TIF Thoughts…

From what Gold says, Spurs have kept a close eye on Daniel Farke’s side throughout the season, and although their interest may have been in Max Aarons, who has regularly been linked with the Lilywhites, they would have surely have taken note of Buendia’s impressive performances, which saw him comfortably named as the Canaries’ best player across the Premier League season (per Whoscored).
