How well do you remember Heung-Min Son's time with Spurs? - The Lilywhites signed Son from which Bundesliga side?

Gold spent pretty much the whole show discussing deals that Spurs might or might not do, and one player he did spend time on was Kyle Walker-Peters, who has moved permanently to Southampton.

The Football.london reporter spent a bit of time talking about the 23-year-old, prior to his departure being confirmed.

He said: “Sad to see Kyle Walker-Peters go, because I do think he is proving at Southampton he can be a very good right-back and I really would have liked to have seen him given a chance, but he just wasn’t under Poch and he wasn’t under [Jose] Mourinho, he just clearly wasn’t going to get in.

“[Daniel] Levy actually really liked him, Mourinho admitted this, that Levy is quite a big fan of Kyle Walker-Peters, but the player wants to be happy, he wants to play week in week out, and it looks like [Ralph] Hasenhuttl is going to give him that chance at Southampton.”

TIF Thoughts…

Walker-Peters spent the second half of the 2019/20 season on loan with Southampton, and he made 10 league appearances, seven more than he managed for Spurs during the most recent Premier League campaign.

In fact, the 23-year-old only made 24 senior appearances for Tottenham in total during his time at the club, so it is no surprise that he has decided to move away, and the deal has now been announced with Walker-Peters signing a five-year deal with both Hasenhuttl and the former Tottenham man sounding delighted with the move.
