Supporters of Newcastle United have been reacting to a tweet which was shared to social media by Liam Kennedy.
On Monday, Kennedy tweeted that he ‘knew’ Toon fans would ‘get to the bottom’ of a suspected Photoshopped image of Bellagraph Nova Group (BNG) representatives.
As per The Shields Gazette, @KTD89 questioned a tweet from BNG that claimed they were at their ‘headquarters in Paris‘ when they appeared to be in a rented office.
Another fan, @TommyTweets_1, then responded with two images, one of which had appeared to have been Photoshopped to show Barack Obama standing with BNG representatives.
Kennedy then responded to the images and stated that it ‘does not bode well for the bidders’ legitimacy’, which had lots of fans talking.
Knew #NUFC would get to the bottom of this. Photoshop images, as we all expected. Does not bode well for the bidders' legitimacy. https://t.co/nZsz9g5tRS

Nah, must admit Liam not getting excited at all.The fact Chopra fronting it seems odd, can’t see connection. News broke to quick and convenient. So until further notice my divorce of @NUFC continues. No interest in fixtures, or in fact @premierleague until I feel my/our Club back

You should know by now that when a #nufc fan is scorned, we become the world’s best hackers and MI5 agents. It is only when we haven’t had bad news yet that we become normal people again who just want the best for our club ?

However, while the image shared by the fan did appear to be Photoshopped, an image on BNG’s website in ‘The Founders’ section features Obama and does not appear to be edited (per Bellagraph Nova Group).
Do you believe that the supposed takeover by Bellagraph Nova Group is legitimate?
No, it's not true
Yes, I think it could be
Liam, like I said earlier. This lot have a long way to go to convince they can even make an attempt at a #NUFC takeover. PCP-PIF-Ruebens are already at the table with the backing of Ashley. We need to wait and see what happens next. They have invested time & money ????

I want to believe as much as anyone, but even I can see there is nothing in this bid

Supposedly, BNG is at an ‘advanced stage’ of a Newcastle takeover which they have claimed themselves (via TalkSPORT).
They have also stated that they are willing to make ‘huge investment‘ in the Toon.
It’s all fake. This company are fake but what Is not is where these stories are coming from. Honestly agendas and corruption everywhere.

Thing is though ..why …and who has done it …We have been through enough ,it’s not fair

As can be seen in these responses from Newcastle supporters, there is certainly a lot of confusion surrounding the supposed takeover bid for the Toon from Bellagraph Nova Group.
