A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from Salomon Rondon as he marked two years to the day that he signed for the Toon.
The Venezuelan signed from West Bromwich Albion on loan in the summer of 2018, and he went on to score 12 goals in all competitions for the Toon and also provide seven assists.
Rondon was superb for Newcastle and won their Player of the Season; however, after Rafael Benitez departed the club, he joined Benitez at Dalian Yifang.
Despite this, though, he still clearly has a lot of affection for the Toon, and his post drew the attention of these Newcastle fans who want him back.
Would you have Rondon back?
Yes, would love him back
No, he has had his time

Rondon was only at St James’ Park for a season, but as he revealed in an interview with The Athletic, he loved his time there, and it is clear that many Toon fans love him as well.
A great pleasure to watch you play… always in our hearts big man… always playing with a smile and a heart as big as a lion…

In his place, Newcastle’s strikers between them in the 2019/20 season scored six Premier League goals just over half of what he managed in the 2018/19 campaign, so on that evidence, Newcastle did not replace him well.
The 30-year-old was especially good in the second half of the season as from January onwards, he scored six league goals and provided five assists as Newcastle finished 13th in the league.
It is nice to see that Rondon still thinks about Tyneside, and it is also good to see that many of the fans feel the same way about him as well.
