Supporters of Newcastle United have been flocking to a video that was shared to Twitter by Steve Wraith.
On Friday afternoon, Wraith shared a video to social media of a video package which had been shown on Sky Sports News.
It covered the St. James’ Park faithful’s desire for answers from the Premier League as to why a decision on the Saudi Arabian-backed takeover of the club was drawn out for so long, following the collapse of talks last week, which included an interview with Wraith himself.
The call for answers from the Premier League has been led by the Newcastle United Supporters Trust (via The Shields Gazette).
Following Wraith’s post to social media, lots of Newcastle supporters flocked to it to air their thoughts.

A current petition calling for an independent investigation into the Premier League’s role in drawing out the takeover process has over 95,000 signatures on it.
Do you believe the pressure on the Premier League will lead to anything positive?
Yes, it will just take time
No, it's a waste of time
Spot on as ever Steve, top man thanks ??

Last week, it was announced that the consortium which included Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund PIF, PCP Capital Partners and Reuben Brothers had ended its £300m bid to buy the club (per BBC).
That was due to the fact that the Premier League’s owners’ and directors’ test had been ongoing since April and that led PIF to run ‘out of patience‘.
Excellent words Steve! I’m still hoping this will happen!
