A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a post from NUFC 360, which has relayed news from the Daily Telegraph concerning Alan Shearer.
It was claimed that the Bellagraph Nova Group, which is reportedly trying to buy Newcastle, had reached out to Shearer and offered him a role at the club; however, it is now claimed that sources close to the former Toon striker deny any involvement.
Michael Chopra, though, is involved, but many Toon fans are not happy with these claims and now believe that this latest takeover attempt is fake.
Is this bid real?
No, not a chance
Yes, there could be something in it
So, this saga is finished already then?
That’s quicker than the Mauriss saga ?

The BN Group’s interest in buying the Toon emerged over the weekend, and those involved have also shown the financial documents that they sent to Mike Ashley’s lawyers to members of the media.
However, Ashley has not directly spoken to this group as yet and his lawyers have not responded to the documents sent, while the bid of £280m has been dismissed.
So, it’s not exactly looking good for this bid so far, and despite claiming to have got Shearer on board, it appears that has been dismissed by sources close to the former Newcastle captain.
This post continued to draw the attention of these Newcastle fans, who are sick of these takeover stories.
Blimey, I think back to April when the news broke & how fans were elated & incredibly excited.
And now…… ?— Adam Goode (@AdzG9) August 17, 2020
The only thing that’s laughable about these takeovers now is that the telegraph seem to know everything

Literally this is the lowest I’ve felt as an NUFC fan in years

Despite all of this negativity around the bid, the group insists it is serious about buying Newcastle and believe that it has provided everything required of them up until this point.
However, it is clear that many Newcastle fans are less than convinced by this group, so we will just have to see if they are proved wrong and turn out to be serious or if the bid will just disappear.
