A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from NUFC 360, which has a video included in it from TalkSPORT showing Simon Jordan talk about the failed takeover of Newcastle United.
In the clip, the former Crystal Palace owner claims that Newcastle fans ‘are up in arms and rightly so to some extent,’ while he also doesn’t ‘understand how a deal breaks down when the buyer and seller are in accord.’
As well as this, Jordan also suggested that the Premier League seem to be blocking this deal because they don’t want it and are protecting the status quo.
Now he is just relaying what some Toon fans think here, but it has still gone down well with these fans.
Do you agree with Jordan?
Yes, this is a good view
No, he doesn't know what he is talking about
As radio/ pundits go. Simon Jordan is probably the most fairest out there. He is a different gravy in my opinion. Says it how it is.

The proposed takeover of Newcastle by Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium fell apart last week when the group withdrew their bid.
After that happened, Staveley blamed the Premier League for the situation, and her husband Mehrdad Ghodoussi claimed that if the Premier League changed their attitude, then all three parties would still do the deal.
This post continued to draw the attention of these Toon fans.
A lot of pressure building from almost everyone! Great news even people who we hate are agreeing with us. Masters is one worried man that’s for sure!!

We just want to know why it was blocked. @talkSPORT @premierleague

It will be very interesting if the added pressure & media scrutiny on the PL actually resurrects the deal? Personally I can’t see it. Best chance they have of buying us weirdly is if we go down. Plenty other clubs thriving now in PL were bought outside of PL rules #NUFCTakeover

What really gets me in all this, and I think the national media have totally missed it.
Every single question can be answered by ONE man.
Nobody outside of Richard Masters (and close “friends”) has a clue what has happened.
Get after the @premierleague.

Thanks Me Parish, great to get someone speaking business sense. I believe Mike Ashley has grounds for Restraint of Trade, can see legal action looming

As well as this claim from Staveley that the Premier League were the reason for this all failing, there is a petition that has over 80,000 signatures on it demanding an independent investigation into why the takeover collapsed.
However, despite these allegations from Staveley and the petition, the Premier League have continued to say nothing, and you would think that the pressure could continue to grow on the league until they actually explain what happened.
