A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from NUFC 360, which has relayed news from The Guardian concerning the Toon’s transfer business.
The report relays rumours that Newcastle are set to sign Jeff Hendrick after he left Burnley.
This post has drawn a reaction from many Toon fans, who are underwhelmed.
Would you be pleased with this signing?

The Republic of Ireland international was linked with a move to St. James’ Park last week, and would become the Toon’s second first-team signing of the summer following goalkeeper Mark Gillespie.
Hendrick made 24 appearances for Burnley in the Premier League in the 2019/20 season, for which he earned an average match rating of 6.55/10, scoring two goals and providing two assists (per WhoScored).
The 28-year-old has also featured in the Premier League on 122 occasions, so he could be a capable addition to the Toon’s midfield – and these Newcastle fans agree.
As I’m can’t see us spending much he’s a decent signing

While his overall rating from the 2019/20 season is by no means incredible, it would still be good enough to put him in third compared to players who played in central midfield for Newcastle in the 2019/20 season.
So, while he might not be a stellar signing, he could prove to be a useful addition to Steve Bruce’s squad.
