Starting with an easy one how many points did Leeds end the season with?

After it was recently reported that the Yorkshire club are allegedly making a £10 million bid for Kent this summer, Devonport shared his thoughts on the matter.

He said: “I think the thing is with Ryan Kent, Bielsa obviously sees something in him, because he’s actively tracked him for quite a period of time now, so we’ll have to wait and see across that one.

“I do know for a fact that Victor Orta spoke to Ryan Kent in the summer of last year, but I think the issue came around the fact that we couldn’t agree a deal with Liverpool for him, so we’ll have to wait and see on that one.”

Kent signed to the Scottish club on a permanent basis back in September 2019 from Liverpool for a fee of £6.48 million after he spent the previous year on loan at Ibrox.

Since first arriving at the club, Kent has gone on to make 80 appearances for Rangers in which the winger has managed to score 16 goals and provide 13 assists.

During Rangers’ 2019/20 SPFL season, Kent, who is currently valued at £3.15 million, scored seven goals in 21 league appearances for Steven Gerrard’s team.

TIF Thoughts…

With Kent having made four league appearances and scored two goals for Rangers in their current 2020/21 season so far, it seems as though Kent is an important figure for the club which may make it difficult for Leeds to make a transfer move for him this summer.
