Many Leeds United fans have been responding to a recent Twitter post relaying a report which states Tyler Roberts has pulled out of the Wales squad due to face Finland and Bulgaria in the UEFA Nations League.
Although the report doesn’t state the reason for the 21-year-old’s withdrawal, there is no doubt the Whites faithful will be hoping it isn’t due to a serious injury. Roberts made 23 appearances in the Championship last season, contributing four goals and one assist (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk) for Marcelo Bielsa’s side as they won the division, subsequently securing promotion back to the Premier League for the first time in 16 years.
Here is how a sample of the Elland Road faithful have responded after the news was shared on the social media platform.
Hope its nothing serious as lad deserves to have an injury free run

I hope it is related to wanting to train with Leeds as he will have a shot at starting early in the season until new signings bed in. However this is Tyler so he may be injured again

It’s clear from the above responses that many of the club’s supporters were concerned by what his withdrawal from the international fixtures may mean, however, it seems there was a hint of sarcasm in some of the replies, suggesting Roberts being injured is something they’ve experienced all too often.
