Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to the club’s announcement regarding the signing of Sam Greenwood.
On Friday morning, the club tweeted stating that they had sealed the arrival of the 18-year-old frontman from ‘fellow Premier League side Arsenal’ (per Leeds United).
The post on the club’s website regarding the transfer went on to state that the move had taken place for an undisclosed fee (per Leeds United).
Greenwood has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Whites which will run until the summer of 2023.
After the news was shared on social media, lots of Leeds supporters flocked to the post to share their thoughts.

During his time with the Gunners, the striker made seven appearances for their Under-23s in which he bagged just one goal and no assists (per Transfermarkt).
He was much more prolific for Arsenal’s Under-18s, however, as he netted 15 goals and bagged six assists in 39 appearances for the younger side.

As stated in Leeds’ report, Greenwood will ‘initially link up’ with the Whites’ Under-23s side and not the first team following his arrival.
