Starting with an easy one how many points did Leeds end the season with?

Hay discussed many Leeds United-related transfer topics and spent a little bit of time on the Brighton & Hove Albion defender.

Here is what he had to say on Leeds’s attempts to bring him back to Elland Road:

“There were reports last weekend, which were accurate, about two bids being knocked back from Leeds, one upfront offer of about £18m, the second upfront offer of about £22m, and from what I understand, both deals including add-ons on top of those figures.

“Brighton don’t want to know at the moment, and are in the process of trying to agree a new deal with Ben White, if he was to sign a new contract down there, then it will, I think, be game over in terms of Leeds trying to sign him, I think that would kill it stone dead.”

So, it looks as if Leeds are trying to sign the 22-year-old, but at the moment, the Seagulls are unwilling to budge and have turned down two offers from the Whites for their defender.

Do you think Leeds will get Ben White?

Yes, I think we will

Yes, I think we will

No, we won't get him

No, we won't get him

TIF Thoughts…

White featured in every game for Leeds in the Championship during the 2019/20 season, and in that time, he earned a superb average match rating of 7.09/10, which ranked in him fifth place in the Whites’ squad.

So, it is no wonder that Leeds want him back, and seem determined to lure him back to Elland Road.

However, as it stands, Brighton are holding firm and are trying to get White to sign a new deal, though so far, he has rejected these contract offers, according to Hay.

If he continues to reject these offers and Leeds increase their bid, could he end up coming back to Elland Road? We will just have to see what happens.
