Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to a recent post about Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ben White.
This comes after TEAMtalk editor and Leeds supporter James Marshment shared a post on his Twitter page that contained an article from TEAMtalk about the former Leeds loan star.
The article relays comments from Brighton chairman Tony Bloom, who recently told The Athletic that his club will look to let some players leave during the summer transfer window as they have an “abundance” of centre-halves in their squad at the moment, which includes White.
Marshment captioned his Twitter post asking if Bloom’s comments mean there could be a chance that White could return to Elland Road this summer.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans, who were quick to share their responses.
Here’s a sample of Leeds fans responding to the post:
Brighton chairman Tony Bloom has been speaking about their need to cut their “centre-back abundance”.

During his loan spell at Elland Road, White made a total of 49 appearances for the Whites, in which he managed to play every minute of Leeds’ 46 Championship matches throughout their promotion-winning 2019/20 season.

This sounds like a chaiman readying his clubs fans for outgoings.
Lets hope Ben White is allowed to move to leeds in a good deal.
Im predicting a 1 year loan with high price tag obligation to buy at the end of the loan— Leeds United (@PaulLeggott) August 4, 2020

Now that Marshment has shared this post on his Twitter page, this sparked a big reaction on Twitter, with many Leeds fans sharing their thoughts on White, who is currently valued at £4.95 million.
There was one Leeds fan, however, who was not that confident White would make the move back to Elland Road once again this summer.
Personally think this move won’t happen unless Ben White Asks to leave. ??

Looking at the replies to Marshment’s post, it appears that this group of Leeds fans would very much like to see White return to the club this summer and be a part of their squad for their 2020/21 Premier League campaign.
It will be interesting to see what Brighton do with White in the coming weeks.
