Starting with an easy one how many points did Leeds end the season with?

The claim that Leeds are interested comes from a tweet by journalist Martin Flores A, with the reported fee emerging from Fox Sports, which claims that Dick Advocaat does not want to lose Senesi, but if he does go, Feyenoord would want a fee of around €20m (£18.02m).

Fox Sports also claims that the Whites have set their sights on the 23-year-old and that Feyenoord can expect an offer from Leeds for the Argentinian.

TIF Thoughts…

Ben White’s loan spell with Leeds is up, and for now, he has returned to Brighton & Hove Albion, so the Whites might need to find a replacement for him if they can’t sign the 22-year-old permanently.

Senesi made 16 league appearances last season for Advocaat’s side and has made one appearance for Argentina’s Under-23s as well, so he has some international experience, albeit briefly at youth level.

However, €20m (£18.02m) for the centre-back could be considered a good deal if he can replicate his form from last season in the Eredivisie, which saw him earn an average match rating of 7.07/10, according to WhoScored.

It is thought that Leeds will not give up on White, and even though it has been reported that the Seagulls want to keep him, the Whites might still make a move to bring in the man who played every league game for Leeds as they won the Championship title to end a 16-year exile from the top flight.

However, it will be intriguing to see if Leeds make a move for Senesi or if they have other targets in mind.
