Beren Cross of Leeds Live has been discussing a variety of topics regarding the club with a section of the supporters during a recent Q&A session.

The Whites recently announced Adidas as their official kit partner from the start of the 2020/21 campaign (via SportsPro). It’s understood that the German sportswear manufacturer will produce the club’s playing and training kits for the next five years, replacing Kappa after their contract expired at the end of the 2019/20 season.

Starting with an easy one how many points did Leeds end the season with?

Footy Headlines recently shared some images of the away kit Leeds are expected to be wearing next season and the subject of the club’s changed strip was raised during Cross’ recent Q&A.

When asked to confirm the leaked photos are accurate, he responded to a supporter by saying:

‘From what I have seen of the leaks, the away kit’s going to be the navy blue and green stripes.’

Whilst the journalist referred to the two colours as navy blue and green, Footy Headlines has revealed that the official colours are ‘legend ink’ and ‘mystery green’. They also confirmed that on the back of the shirt, just below the collar, there is a small Yorkshire rose.

TIF Thoughts…

Judging by the comments on the Footy Headlines website, it appears the supporters are divided on whether they approve of the new kit designs. Adidas currently produce kits for some of the world’s most famous clubs including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Arsenal.

It’s understood that the income from this deal will be a ‘welcome boost’ for the Whites, therefore, regardless of what people make of the designs, in our view, the partnership is in the club’s best interests.
