Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to salute the performance of Ben White in the 4-0 win against Charlton Athletic on Wednesday night.
The on-loan Brighton man netted his first goal for the club with a superb volley in the first half and was rewarded with an 8/10 rating from Leeds Live for his performance. It was perhaps fitting that the 22-year-old was able to potentially sign off from his time with Marcelo Bielsa’s side with a goal, with the likes of Liverpool having been touted with an interest in the centre-back ahead of next season following his scintillating campaign with the Whites.
The young defender featured in every single Championship game for the title-winners, averaging a very strong 7.09 rating across the season (per WhoScored), but with Brighton reportedly wanting more than £35 million for the Englishman this summer, it would perhaps be difficult to see him returning to Elland Road.

Ben White is ridiculously good, if City have any sense they will sign him this summer, even if we managed to sign him it would only be for a couple more years #lufc
