Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to slate winger Helder Costa after his latest display for the club in their midweek 1-1 draw against Luton Town.
This comes after the 26-year-old put in a disappointing performance during the match at Elland Road on Tuesday.
The winger joined Marcelo Bielsa’s side on loan from Premier League side Wolves in the previous summer transfer window.
Since then, Costa, who is valued at £7.2 million (Transfermarkt), has gone on to make 43 appearances for the club, in which he has managed to score four goals and provide six assists along the way.
After the match had ended at Elland Road, many Leeds fans couldn’t help but share their thoughts on Costa and his latest performance for the club.

According to WhoScored, Costa’s performance in the midweek draw earned him a match rating of 6.1/10, making him the lowest-rated player for Leeds that started the match (per WhoScored).

Shortly into the second half of the match, Leeds were a goal down after Luton’s Harry Cornick gave his side the lead. However, Leeds full-back Stuart Dallas managed to score the equaliser, which ended up salvaging a point for Leeds (per BBC Sport).
Costa is a pure fraud. Been carried all year and we would have been better flushing 15m down the toilet than taking him. Another Orta wonder signing.

I don’t like calling out players, but Costa looks likes he’s stealing a wage. I’ve seen far too many indifferent performances from him.

Now that the match has ended with both teams sharing a point, this quickly led to a lot of Leeds fans going on to Twitter to share their negative thoughts and opinions on Costa and his latest performance for the promotion-chasing side.

Looking at these tweets from this group of Leeds fans, it seems as though they are not satisfied by what Costa gave on the pitch during the draw.
The hope for these Leeds fans now would be that Costa can improve the quality of his game for their next Championship match against Blackburn Rovers, assuming that Bielsa continues to pick him.
