Many Leeds United fans have flocked to social media to respond to a post by Leon Wobschall of the Yorkshire Post.
The football writer shared a quote from current Brentford boss Thomas Frank which reads: “I saw a fantastic picture of some Leeds fans. It was a dad, a son and daughter holding a sign that said ‘We’ll be back’ 16 years ago and then another sign that says ‘Now we’re back’. Now they’re grown up and been through so much suffering and pain.”
Here is how a sample of the Elland Road faithful have responded to the post on Twitter:
He’s growing on me

Wow Thomas Frank with more nice comments about the club … in fairness though he is the only manager I have seen on Sky that has congratulated us (after their defeat to Stoke)

Lining himself up as a replacement with MB calls time.

Make him a ticket sales officer or something, sounds like he wants to be involved

Would you be happy to see Thomas Frank manage Leeds one day?
Yes
No
It’s clear from the above responses that some of these Leeds fans believe Frank would love to be involved with the club someday and we can assume they believe his comments are carefully thought out. Supporters of the Yorkshire-based giants continued to respond.
Not sure if that’s technically nice or just making an obvious statement

Although Leeds United need to renew Marcelo Bielsa’s contract if he is to continue with the club in the Premier League next season, Phil Hay of The Athletic recently reported that those who follow the Whites ‘not expect any trouble’ when it comes to the negotiations. Therefore, if Frank is, as suggested by some of these supporters, trying to throw his hat in the ring for the job, in our opinion, it seems a bit early for that.
