Many Leeds United supporters have flocked to Twitter to respond to a post from @SkySportsPL leading to a story regarding Ben White.
The report states that the 22-year-old is considering his future following a successful loan spell at Elland Road. The centre-back is due to return to Brighton and Hove Albion officially at the end of this month and it remains unclear what the future holds for the £4.95m-rated defender.
White played a key role for Marcelo Bielsa’s side during their Championship-winning campaign, he started every single league game for the Yorkshire-based club and didn’t miss a single minute of football (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk).
Here is how a sample of the Leeds faithful have responded to the post on the social media platform.
Only thing he’ll win at Brighton is a stick of rock off the seafront.

As a Leeds fan that’s watched him closely this season (we all have), he’s too good for us and Brighton. He should be pushing for a move to one of the top 6 clubs imo. He’s that good.

There’s gonna be floods of offers, for money that Brighton will not dare turn down…no matter what Potter says!! I just hope Leeds can meet the demands, but I have a feeling he may be out of our grasp on a permanent basis…we will see ?

Are you hopeful Ben White will return to Elland Road?
Yes
No
It’s clear from the above responses that these fans believe Ben White has been performing at such a high level he deserves a move to a bigger club than Brighton. Many continued to respond to the post, making their feelings known on the player and his future.
Feel for the lad, the thought of having to pitch up at Brighton again after a season with Bielsa & Leeds is tough on him……

“No matter what happens from here” He won’t be staying at Brighton

White’s average performance rating in the Championship last season was an impressive 7.09/10, making him Bielsa’s fifth-most consistent performer only behind Luke Ayling, Pablo Hernandez, Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper. Taking all of the above into account, we suspect if Brighton do decide to sell the player, they may be looking for significantly more than his quoted transfer value.
