A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to a post from LeedsUnitedAllTheWay that has relayed news from TEAMtalk from Andrea Radrizzani.
It is claimed that the Leeds owner has said that the Whites’ transfer record will be broken this summer, and this has got many Leeds fans excited and speculating at the thought of the team substantially adding to their ranks ahead of their first Premier League season for 16 years.
Leeds’ current top transfer is Rio Ferdinand from West Ham United for £18m in November 2000 but Radrizzani thinks that their transfer record is Helder Costa, but he cost slightly less.
Either way, Radrizzani’s claim drew the attention of many Whites fans, who were excited and hoping that the player that breaks the record could be Ben White.
Who is more likely to be the transfer record breaker?
Ben White
Jean-Kevin Augustin

It is rumoured that Brighton and Hove Albion want £35m for the 22-year-old, but Leeds could face competition from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City – with plenty of clubs reportedly keeping an eye on White.
Leeds would hope that they will be able to convince him to stay at Elland Road after they sealed promotion to the Premier League after a 16-year exile.
Some Whites fans, though, feel as if the transfer record will be broken on Jean-Kevin Augustin.
Probably Augustin knowing our luck

The Whites have an obligation-to-buy clause in the 23-year-old’s contract now that they have been promoted, and reports suggest that RB Leipzig are expecting their money for the Frenchman, who made just three first-team appearances for the Whites.
Supposedly, Augustin will cost Leeds €21m (£18.95m), unless they can find some way out of it.
Either way, though, it looks like Leeds will be breaking their transfer record, although who that might be on is unclear at this stage.
