Leeds United’s official Twitter account caught the attention of many Whites supporters recently after they posted a tweet calling for the club’s supporters to buy a match pass for their ‘season finale’ against Charlton Athletic, which is being shown exclusively on LUTV on Wednesday.

This tweet included a link to an article from the Whites’ official website which explains that LUTV is ‘the only place’ to watch Leeds United’s final game of the season as the fixture has ‘not been selected by Sky Sports for live broadcast and will not be available via the Red Button.’

After Leeds United shared this news to the club’s supporters via a tweet, plenty of Whites fans responded to this post to call for the club to make this fixture available for free.

One particular Leeds fan replied to this tweet to share that they believe this fixture should have been made available for free as a show of gratitude to the Whites faithful and after it was recently confirmed that the Whites are the Championship winners for the 2019/20 season, some Leeds supporters replied to this tweet to share that they believe that all of the club’s fans should be able to enjoy the Championship trophy presentation, which is expected to take place after Wednesday’s game, without having to pay.

Nice easy one to start off with, from which club did Leeds sign Hernandez?

Should this game be available for free?

Some Leeds United fans mentioned the club’s owner Andrea Radrizzani in response to this tweet and continued calling for this game to be available for free.

Considering that Leeds are set to compete in England’s top flight next season for the first time since the 2003/04 campaign and this will be their final game in the Championship for at least one season, it may be understandable why these members of the club’s fanbase replied to this post to call for the game to be made available for free so that all of the club’s fans can celebrate their promotion by watching the final game of this successful title-winning campaign and, perhaps more importantly, enjoy the trophy presentation to crown their long-awaited achievement.
