Fans of Celtic have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which the club announces a partnership with JD Sports.
Following the official announcement that Celtic would be welcoming Adidas as its new official kit supplier on a five-year deal, the club also stated on Wednesday that they have teamed up with JD Sports.
A statement on the Celtic website read: ‘JD and Celtic Football Club are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership that will see the leading sports fashion retailer team up as the club’s official retail partner. This new partnership will supplement and enhance Celtic’s own excellent retail and e-commerce operation.’
And, after the club’s official Twitter account relayed the news, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many stating their delight at the news.

The deals with both Adidas and JD represent a great commercial success for Celtic – with Adidas representing some of the world’s most prestigious clubs, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Juventus.
Meanwhile, their deal with JD will aid merchandise sales, not just in Scotland, but all across the world.
And it seems that the news has gone down extremely well with Celtic fans.

With Celtic going for their 10th Scottish Premiership title in a row next season, their kit for the 2020/21 campaign has the potential to go down in the history of the club – and, from the reactions to the announcement with JD Sports, it certainly seems as if interest will be high in the club’s merchandise for their upcoming campaign.
