Supporters of Celtic have been flocking to air their views on a tweet which was shared by journalist Ewan Murray.

In an initial tweet, Murray stated that the sides who were relegated by the SPFL this season had been ‘wrongfully thrown out of leagues’ (per Ewan Murray).

TheCelticBlog then responded to the journalist’s post by suggesting that those sides had not been ‘wrongfully’ thrown out of their leagues as they were in the relegation zone when play was suspended.

Murray then came back to that supporter and stated that, had Celtic been second in the Scottish Premiership table when play was suspended two points behind first with a game in hand, then ‘people would want The Hague involved’ and ‘the internet would break’.

This had lots of Hoops supporters flocking to it to air their view on what the journalist had to say.

Starting with an easy one- apart from Paris Saint-Germain, which other French club did Edouard play for?

After the league was suspended and it was decided that play would not be resumed, Hearts were relegated from the Scottish Premiership on average points per game (per Edinburgh Live).

That is despite the fact that the club was only four points from safety with eight matches of the season left to be played.

As stated by some supporters, when the season was ended and it was decided that the term would be concluded on a points-per-game basis, the Hoops were 13 points clear of second-place (per BBC).

Do you agree with what Ewan Murray had to say?

No, he is just wrong

Yes, he has a point

As can be seen in the responses from these Celtic fans, they made it clear that they did not agree with what the journalist had to say.
