Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from the Scottish club.
This comes after the official Celtic Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained an answer from Hatem Elhamed during a recent Twitter Q&A session.
After being asked who the best player he has ever played with was, Elhamed stated that he plays with “some amazing players” at Celtic but revealed that “there was a Nigerian player called Anthony Nwakaeme” at his previous club Hapoel Beer Sheva who was “unreal” according to Elhamed.
This post from the Celtic defender then gathered a lot of replies from Celtic fans who were quick to share their thoughts in response to Elhamed’s answer.
Here’s a sample of Celtic fans responding to the post:

Nwakaeme currently plays for Turkish side Trabzonspor after moving from Hapoel Beer Sheva in 2018.

In 39 total appearances for Trabzonspor across all competitions this season, Nwakaeme has managed to score 14 goals and provide 11 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

Now that Elhamed has named the winger as the best player he has ever played with, this sparked a big reaction on Twitter with many Celtic fans responding with their thoughts.
Do Celtic need to sign a winger this summer?
Yes
No
Some Celtic fans even suggested the club should immediately go out and sign Nwakaeme.

It appears that Elhamed’s praise for Nwakaeme has all but convinced these Celtic fans that their club should make a move for the winger in the upcoming transfer window.
Looking at Nwakaeme’s impressive record for Trabzonspor in terms of the goals and assists he has delivered for the club this season, a potential transfer to Celtic may be a good move for the Scottish champions.
