Starting with an easy one- apart from Paris Saint-Germain, which other French club did Edouard play for?

The piece states that both Celtic and Forest have set their sights on signing the former Aston Villa man in the next transfer window.

It also claims that the 22-year-old has just come off the best season of his career, and scouts believe that he can operate at a higher level than League One.

It is claimed that Blackett-Taylor mainly operates on the left flank and was superb in Tranmere’s tie against Watford in the FA Cup.

TIF Thoughts…

Since joining from Aston Villa on a free transfer last summer, Blackett-Taylor made 34 appearances for Tranmere, scoring five goals and providing six assists in all competitions before the League One season was initially suspended and eventually curtailed.

Tranmere were relegated from the league, but if Celtic and Forest are interested in the 22-year-old, then it looks like he has some options to move a step or two up.

In League One, however, the former Aston Villa man only provided two assists and scored two goals.

However, his performances against Watford in the FA Cup, where he provided two assists across the two games, perhaps proves that he can perform at a higher level.

If he is to get a move to the Bhoys, though, he might have to provide more end product in the league and be ready to fight for a place with the likes of Mikey Johnston and Mohamed Elyounoussi on the wing.

It will be interesting to see if Celtic do decide to take a punt on Blackett-Taylor or if they leave him for someone else.
