In-the-know Hammers man @ExWHUemployee has aired his belief that Sebastien Haller will not be starting for West Ham United against Watford.
Since the return of the Premier League season, the French striker has not started a match for the London club but has made two substitute appearances (per Transfermarkt).
The forward missed the first four matches of the restart after picking up a hip injury in a friendly match with Queens Park Rangers (per football.london).
So, in the latest episode of The West Ham Way Podcast, @ExWHUemployee provided an update on the forward prior to the Irons’ meeting with Watford.
He said: “I know categorically that Haller was not going to start against Wolves until he got injured; he was on the bench and then he got injured and didn’t play.
“He was fit to play earlier, technically, than he did, but [David] Moyes didn’t rush him back for numerous reasons.
“He hasn’t [started] in the last two games and from what I understand, this is not ‘ITK’ at the moment, but from what I understand in training, he’s not going to start against Watford, either.”
